The fees below are based on a two party mediation. VAT applies.

Online mediation via Zoom

Zoom mediations can be booked online using my Zoom booking page.

Online mediation is often the quickest and simplest option to arrange, and it works extremely well for many inheritance and business disputes.

Additional hours can be arranged if needed.

Half Day: £500 per party

Full Day: £800 per party

In person mediation
with venue included

This option includes the cost of the venue rooms in Manchester city centre.

Additional hours can be arranged if needed.

Half Day: £900 per party

Full Day: £1300 per party

In person mediation
without venue

This option applies where no venue is required from me and the mediation takes place at a suitable location within a 20-mile radius of Stockport.

If you are unsure whether your location falls within the 20-mile radius, or if it is outside that area, please get in touch and I will be happy to advise.

Fixed Fee Mediation Scheme - Disputes worth below £50,000

For claims valued under £50,000, I am pleased to confirm my participation in the Fixed Fee Mediation Scheme. This nationwide scheme offers a transparent and accessible fee structure designed to support parties in resolving disputes cost-effectively.

Where there is any difference between my prices and the fixed fee scheme, you are welcome to choose the option that best suits your needs and circumstances. My aim is to ensure that access to mediation remains flexible and fair for all parties involved. Unfortunately I am not yet able to offer the Fixed Fee Scheme on the online booking portal due to tech restrictions on the online calendar. Please either enquire to book with me manually, or book the closest comparable and I will refund any price difference to you.

Half Day: What's included?

Approx 2 hours for pre-mediation document review
Approx 30 minutes for a pre-mediation call with each party and any legal advisors.
Up to 4 hours mediation on your chosen day.
That's some seven hours dedicated to your dispute, and option to book overrun time.

Full Day: What's included?

Approx 4 hours for pre-mediation document review
Approx 1.5 hours (x2) for a pre-mediation call with each party and any legal advisors.
Up to 8 hours - mediation on your chosen day.
That's some fifteen hours dedicated to your dispute, and option to book overrun time.

Hump Day Wednesday: What's included?

Specially reserved for those who might otherwise struggle to fund the mediation of the whole or part of their inheritance dispute. Mediation should be accessible for all. Facilitating a mediation of a simple modest estate with a value less than £250,000. Alternatively, a preliminary solo issue of a higher value estate.
Approx 30 minutes for pre-mediation document review
Approx 30 minutes each for a pre-mediation call with each party (and their legal advisors where applicable).
Up to five hours of mediation strictly between 10am - 3pm on a Wednesday only.

Our cancellation policy is a follows:

28+ days before mediation date: 100% refund

14+ days before mediation date: 80% refund

7+ days before mediation date: 50% refund

3+ days before mediation date: 50% refund

<3 days before mediation date: no refund

In the unlikely event of my illness or other unforeseen circumstances, my liability upon cancellation is limited to the parties costs of pre-paid travel, accommodation and venue hire of the aborted date. Another date will be arranged as soon as practicable for all parties involved. If preferred, in such unforeseen circumstances, I will usually be able to substitute myself with another suitable mediator to ensure the mediation continues as planned.
