CONFLICT RESOLUTION: MEDIATION, MENTORING & COACHING

Finding Resolution, One Hump at a Time.

Mediating, coaching and mentoring all can explore the past, but are all mainly about finding ways to move forward.  Sure, those in conflict wish to review and explain how they got here, but ultimately the participants of any conflict resolution come to the table to move from the past into a more promising and productive future.

The magic for me is seeing the parties co-create that better future, together. Whatever that means for them.

Thirty years of my working life has meant evolving, adapting and shifting my own perspective. I’ve been an employee, a 'worker' a boss, an entrepreneur, a mentor. I've been an ex-pat, a landlord, a tenant, a homeowner, a wife and a mum and an estranged daughter. All have shaped me. To mediation and conflict coaching I bring all  the skills I have learnt from my varied career to help my clients with their family and business conflict.

At the risk of sounding cookie-cutter-ish (and upsetting people who don't like others making up words), I love that our lives are journeys.  I’ve made it my personal misson to venture down the road less travelled whenever opportunity knocked. That’s why my working life has taken me on paths as a litigation solicitor, business owner, renovator, hotelier (of sorts), entrepreneur, litigation solicitor, writer, coach, contentious probate specialist and mediator. A varied career in the 'professions' used to be unusual, and a little frowned upon by generations before me, but now the modern world wants to embrace change faster than we accommodate it, and isn't exciting how we're all becoming emotionally intelligent in our bid to set us apart from the tech?

This is a fantastic time to be a mediator, and to embrace mediation as a participant. Come and find out a little more about yourself and your future in the process of trying to resolve your dispute.

Your conflict stems from your values. You hear people say these days that they were "triggered" or someone "pushed their buttons". That's your values being rattled. There's the surface issue -  what you think you're fighting about - and the deeper issue - the values at the core of your identity.

What you could discover about yourself and your family in a safe exploratory space might resolve stubborn recurring issues once and for all.

Conflict is opportunity. Let's work through it together.

Hello, I'm Gayle

I provide a tailored specialist mediation and conflict coaching service for legal, family and business disputes with an emotional core.

There's certainly a time and a place to litigate. But sometimes a more holistic approach to a family in conflict can resolve and re-build family relationships.

My expertise lies in knowing the law to help facilitate a cost-effective mediation of an existing dispute. I'll aim to help achieve not only resolution of the dispute but, when families want it, to try to foster longer-lasting peace and help families thrive again.
